Scholarships for master and PhD studies in Norway

There are two main scholarship programmes offered by the Norwegian government for Tibetan academics who wish to study for a Master (MA)- or PhD- degree at a university in Norway:

• The Network Scholarship Programme
• The Quota Scheme

The Network for University Co-operation is responsible for the Network Scholarship Programme. Candidates for the Network Scholarship Programme are selected according to the Criteria for Selection of Candidates .

The Quota Scheme are managed by the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher education (SiU). Candidates from China/Tibet are eligible to apply. Students who wish to apply to the Quota Scheme should contact the International Education Office at the specific Norwegian university or college they wish to attend.
